We have our 6-foot artificial Christmas tree set up already. All I have to do now is deck it up (with balls and holly!).
There have been so many projects I have piling up. Looking back at the past few months I've wasted, I realize that it kept piling up because I kept buying stuff for crafts yet I have no motivation whatsoever to do something with it. All the ideas are just in my head.
Now, I'm trying to kick that wallowing feeling of depression. It's not worth it.
There's so much to be thankful for! There's a lot of good things going around that I shouldn't focus on things that are not meant to happen yet.
I know that The Man up there is orchestrating all of these and He has his mighty reason. All I have to do is surrender and believe.
That being said, I begin to tackle the project that has been sitting in the garage since Summer of this year. Yep, I told you no motivation!
I saw some good sites online that inspired me to refinish my dresser. This dresser was a garage sale find for $50. It's all wood and is old school. Anyway, I decided that I want to stain it Mahogany to match up with our bed.
Finally, we (meaning D and I) are able to get to it. Sand it, stain it and now, D's putting the new knobs on it.
I wish I have the before photos... But here's what it the drawers look like for now.
